Winteraceae

We offer no fewer than two Winteraceae spices from the Southern Hemisphere: the Tasmanian pepper from Tasmania and the Canola pepper from Chile. The former, formerly called Drymis lanceolata, is now Tasmannia lanceolata, and the latter, Drymis winteri. These are highly distinctive peppers with the spicy sesquiterpene polygodial.
