Winteraceae

We offer no fewer than two Winteraceae, spices from the Southern Hemisphere. The Tasmanian pepper from Tasmania and the Canola pepper from Chile. As for the former, formerly called Drymis lanceolata, nowadays Tasmannia lanceolata; as for the latter, Drymis winteri. Very distinctive peppers with the spicy sesquiterpene polygodial.
