Collection: Myristicaceae
This family of plants includes trees whose bark is used to make a hallucinogenic snuff. This tobacco is very popular among indigenous tribes in the Amazon region. Almost all the plants belonging to the family are extremely fragrant, including Myrisca fragfrans, better known as the nutmeg tree, supplier of nutmeg and mace, and the only plant in the family of culinary importance.
