Right of withdrawal
The legislator has provided the option to return items delivered by an online store to the store without giving a reason and to cancel the order. This is the right of withdrawal The period within which a claim can be made is called the cooling-off period (cooling-off period) named.
The law provides for a cooling-off period of fourteen calendar days after delivery. But be careful. Perishable foodstuffs are excluded from the right of withdrawal for hygienic reasons (food safety), as are custom-made products.
This exclusion applies to all spices we offer, partly because we package each order individually in the quantity requested by the customer. The right of withdrawal therefore only applies to non-food items.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will immediately send you an email confirming your notification and explaining the procedure.
How does it work?
Under your right of withdrawal, you can either cancel your purchase and request a refund or request an equivalent replacement product. Should you choose the latter, we will arrange for immediate shipment upon receipt of your return, subject to availability.
Any price differences to your advantage will be immediately settled with a refund. If you paid an additional amount, you will receive a supplementary order from us with a payment request. Your new item will be shipped to you as soon as possible after receipt of the additional payment. In both cases, you will receive written confirmation of the agreements from us.
After you have indicated within the cooling-off period that you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal, you have - again - fourteen calendar days to return your purchase, provided it is unused and undamaged and taking into account rules of the game below.
Who pays what?
The right of withdrawal entitles you to a refund of the costs of purchasing the product(s) in question, including the contribution paid for the handling and shipping costs of the initial shipment, if the withdrawal does not concern all products received on a pro-rata basis.
The costs of returning the product are at your expense, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.
Important! Refusal and no-show – return shipping costs
Unless you refuse a package because it arrived damaged (take a photo and send it to us) or pay the return costs yourself, We are entitled to charge the actual costs incurred for the return. As these costs may vary we will charge you the minimum amount of now €7.50 incl. VAT will be charged.Once the package is returned to us, your order will be (partially) canceled and this amount will be deducted from the refund.
Three rules for returns
1. the product has not been used
Every buyer is permitted to evaluate a product for functionality. This is considered "unused," provided the evaluation has been carried out with care. For example, the product may not be extensively tested. In the case of
2. the product is undamaged
This goes without saying. If you receive a damaged product, please contact us immediately upon receipt via our contact form or by phone to our helpdesk.Always check the packaging upon receipt for damage, and you may suspect that the contents are also damaged. Refuse severely damaged packages!
3. the product is properly packaged and shipped with correct postage
Please note! We do not accept packages with postage due. Please ensure sufficient postage is used and do not use a letterbox stamp to ship a (larger) package.
Refund
If the above rules are met, we will refund you within 48 hours of receipt of the returned product, minus any actual return costs incurred by us (see above).
You'll generally receive the payment in your account two to five days after the transfer. If the rules are not met, we reserve all rights.
