Shipping and returns

We attach great importance to quality and tailor every order to your needs. We don't keep prepackaged spices in stock! Orders placed before 3:00 PM are usually shipped the same day, or the next day. You can expect your order within 1 to 2 business days.

If we are unfortunately unable to ship your order within five days of purchase (your payment), we will notify you immediately. You have the right to cancel the purchase if we do not deliver within five business days (General Terms and Conditions, Article 11, paragraph 3).

The month of December

With the arrival of the holiday season, the pressure on delivery services increases enormously. They do everything they can to deliver the enormous mountain of packages on time, but to be honest, this isn't always successful. Moreover, for logistical reasons, delivery services use the "first-in, last-out" principle, meaning that packages delivered later are delivered faster. Packages that have been temporarily left undelivered due to the busy period are being processed. How this will affect individual packages is unpredictable.
That is why we advise you to allow ten days (!) for Sinterklaas, so please do so no later than Thursday, November 24 order, and before Christmas at the latest Monday, December 15th We are traditionally closed for the days leading up to Christmas (week 52). We will announce this later.

PostNL

Our standard delivery service is PostNL, due to their excellent service and excellent distribution of delivery points. We use PostNL parcel services and PostNL letter mail, two separate routes. For letterbox mail, the track and trace is purely indicative; delivery personnel do not scan their deliveries.

If your order fits in a letterbox box, we will always send it by letterbox post, even if you have chosen delivery via a service point.

PostNL service point

Once the shipment has been delivered to the selected service point, you will receive a notification from PostNL. You have seven days to collect the package there. If you haven't collected it after three days, you will receive a reminder. If the package remains there for a week, it will be considered undeliverable and returned to us. Your purchase will be considered refused. - see below. no-show

Damaged package?

We ensure practical, proper packaging and ask that you carefully inspect the condition of the package upon arrival. You have the right to refuse a package if it is visibly damaged and you have reasonable suspicion that the contents may be damaged or incomplete.

Discuss this with the delivery driver, who will make a note of it in the handheld terminal and, if possible, take a photo – do the same yourself if possible – that clearly shows the damage. Notify us immediately.

If the packaging is undamaged but the contents are nevertheless damaged or incomplete, in this case also take immediate action Contact us via the contact form, phone, or chat function. Please also take a photo in that case.

Returns and right of withdrawal

To ensure freshness, we maintain a limited inventory of packaged spices. Most orders are only packaged after order confirmation.In connection with our commitment to your food safety, all spices packaged by us at your request are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal remains fully applicable to our spice mills.

Important! We are forced to operate a no-show policy.

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that a package isn't picked up at a service point and is returned. In that case, we are responsible for the return shipping costs and may have to write off the returned products. Please understand that we consider a non-collection as a no-show, similar to a restaurant reservation you don't use.

In case of a no-show, we will charge you €7.50, which we will deduct from the refund amount you are legally entitled to.
