Shipping and returns

We attach great importance to quality and make every order to measure. We do not keep pre-packaged stock of spices! Orders placed before 3:00 PM are normally shipped the same day, or the day after. You can expect your order within 1 to 2 working days.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to ship your order within five days of purchase (your payment), we will notify you immediately. After all, you have the right to cancel the purchase if we do not proceed with delivery within 5 working days (General Terms and Conditions, Article 11, paragraph 3).

The month of December

With the arrival of the holiday season, pressure on delivery services increases enormously. They make every effort to deliver the huge mountain of packages on time, but honesty dictates that this is far from always successful. Furthermore, for logistical reasons, delivery services operate on a 'first-in, last-out' principle, which means that packages delivered later are delivered more quickly. Wordan packages that have been temporarily delayed due to the busy period. How this will turn out for an individual package is unpredictable.
Therefore, we advise allowing a margin of ten days (!) For Sinterklaas, please do so no later than [date/time]. Thursday, November 24 order, and no later than Christmas Monday, December 15. We are traditionally closed during the days before Christmas (week 52). We will provide information about this at a later stage.

PostNL

Our standard delivery service is PostNL, due to their good service and good distribution of delivery points. We use the PostNL parcel service and PostNL letter mail, two separate tracks. For mailbox mail, the track-and-trace is purely indicative, as the deliverers do not scan their deliveries.

If your order fits in a letterbox box, we will always send it by letter post, even if you have chosen delivery via a service point.

PostNL service point

As soon as the shipment has been delivered to the selected service point, you will receive a notification from PostNL. You have seven days to pick up the package there. If you have not done so after three days, you will receive a reminder. If the package remains there for a week, it will be considered undeliverable and returned to us. Your purchase will be considered refused. - see below no-show

Damaged package?

We ensure practical, proper packaging and ask you to be critical of the condition of the package upon arrival. You have the right to refuse a package if it is visibly damaged and you have reasonable grounds to suspect that the contents may be damaged or incomplete.

Discuss this with the delivery driver, who will make a note of it on the handheld terminal, and take a photo if possible—do this yourself as well if possible—clearly showing the damage. Notify us immediately.

When the packaging is undamaged, but the contents are nevertheless damaged or incomplete, take immediate action in this case as well contact us via the contact form, telephone, or chat function. In that case, please take a photo of it as well.

Returns and right of withdrawal

We maintain a limited stock of packaged spices to ensure freshness. The majority of orders are only packed after order confirmation.Due to our concern for your food safety, all spices packaged by us at your request are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal applies without restriction to our spice grinders.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please read carefully what you need to do on our Right of Withdrawal page.

Important! We are forced to enforce a "no-show" policy.

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that a package is not collected from a service point and is returned. In that case, we are charged the costs of this return shipment and may have to write off the returned products. You can understand that we consider failure to collect a package as a no-show, comparable to a restaurant reservation that you do not use.

We will charge you €7.50 for a 'no show', which we will deduct from the refund amount due to you.
