Ten years!
We have entered our tenth year. On September 1, 2026, it will be exactly ten years since we launched our webshop!
We started with a small online shop in which we had roughly a dozen types
In the years that followed, we significantly expanded our product range and sought out and found a large number of our own import channels. For instance, we entered into a particularly pleasant partnership with a farming family from Ainhoa and have been selling their products ever since.
For several years in a row, we had a stall at various Pure markets in Amsterdam and occasionally elsewhere, such as the monthly market in De Strijp in Eindhoven. The shop took up more and more of our time, and the 'marketing' became a heavy burden for us—a lot of preparation, a lot of lugging, and sometimes long drives. Therefore, in 2024, we said goodbye to the market business, which we had come to cherish, in order to focus entirely on online sales.
The growth we experienced from that moment on enabled us to include spices in our assortment that we previously could not obtain, simply because we were far too small a player.
Even though the years are starting to take their toll—Marian and I have officially been retired for ten years—the passion for what we do and offer has not waned. Undoubtedly, the time will come when we want to pass the baton; until then, you will have to make do with us. Given the predominantly very positive reviews since mid-June '25 on Trustpilot to the full satisfaction of many of our customers.
