CrushGrind© Vaasa storage jar - green

This storage jar is part of the Crushgrind© Vaasa series. You can use it to store your spices, but also as a interchangeable container for the spice grinder from this series. The jar is made of glass, the lid Made of biocomposite material. The lid is green.

The Vaasa series was designed by Sam(uel) Murley of the Danish concept developer Ideas. The pot is nine centimeters high and is available in sets of two, but also individually. The jar is just like the spice mill available in the color off-white.

Durable

The jar itself is made of glass, the lid of cellulose fibres, sourced from certified wood, mainly coniferous trees, harvested from sustainably managed forests. This biocomposite has a low CO₂ footprint unlike similar biomaterials made from edible crops. The biocomposite Crushgrind therefore does not compete with the food production chain.

It is based on almost 100% renewable materials with two main components:

• cellulose fibers from wood,
• liquid rosin (called tall oil), a residue from pulp production

Cleaning

It glasses part can simply go in the dishwasher, the Do not wash the lid. Always wash the lid, like the grinding mechanism of the Vaasa, by hand.
