We are very happy with this! No longer in production. However, we have managed to obtain some of these beautiful mills. One-off (although we continue to search due to popular demand)
Henrik Kasper designed this beautiful mill with a mechanism that he modeled after the kala flower. He used stainless steel for this. The glass cup can of course go in the dishwasher, the grinding mechanism cannot. You can easily unscrew the ceramic part to rinse it. The ceramic element is set in plastic, the same material that Lego building blocks are made of.
The design is upside down, you hold the mill upside down and grind by moving the cup back and forth. Make full turns? Not necessary.
The factory also provides a 25-year warranty on every Crushgrind® mechanism, including this one, although it has been out of production since 2023.
The mill is suitable for almost all spices and salt, with the exception of hard seeds such as nutmeg and moist products such as fleur de sel. Tip: use the mill to grind your own spice mixes based on uncooked spices. Fresh from the press!
