Shipping and returning
We ship our products in sustainable packaging (as little plastic as possible), as a letter package or as a postal package. Your order will normally be prepared and shipped on the day of receipt of your payment. If we are unable to send your order within five days of purchase (your payment), we will notify you as soon as possible. After all, you have the right to cancel the purchase if we do not proceed with delivery within 5 working days (General Terms and Conditions art 11 section 3).
How?
We do almost all shipments with PostNL, either with the parcel service or with the postman. In the latter case (letterbox post) you do not have to be at home, a comfortable service. Our jars, and this also applies to pepper mills and gift boxes, are always sent by parcel post, to the (home) address you have specified or to a PostNL service point - post office.
For orders up to €25.00, we will make one choice on your behalf. If the order fits in a letterbox box, we will send it by letterbox post, even if you have chosen delivery via a service point. Please note. If you have a reason not to receive a package by letterbox post, please let us know by email at the same time as your order. No problem!
As soon as the shipment has been delivered to the service point, you will receive a message from PostNL. You have seven days to collect the package there. If you have not done so after three days, you will receive a reminder. If the package is there for a week, it will be considered undeliverable and returned to us. Your purchase will be considered refused. - see below Refusal and no-show - return shipping costs
We provide practical, proper packaging and ask you to be critical of the condition of the package when it arrives. You have the right to refuse a package if it is visibly damaged and you have reasonable suspicions that the contents may be damaged or incomplete.
Discuss this with the delivery person, who will make a note of this in the hand terminal, and if possible take a photo of it, which clearly shows the damage. Inform us immediately.
If the packaging is undamaged, but the contents are nevertheless damaged or incomplete, in this case too, take it immediately contact us via the contact form, telephone or chat function. In that case, also take a picture of it.
Returns and right of withdrawal
We keep a limited stock of packaged spices for freshness purposes. The majority of orders are only packaged after confirmation of the order. In connection with our concern for your food safety, all spices packaged by us at your request are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal remains fully applicable to our spice mills.

Important! Refusal and no-show - return shipping costs
If you have your package delivered to your home, but it cannot be delivered, it will be taken to a collection point. This is also the case if you choose not to have your package delivered to your home but to a collection point. You can also refuse a package at the door.
Unless you refuse a package because it arrived damaged (take a photo of that and send it to us) unfortunately we have to €7.50 for return costs charge. As soon as the package is returned to us, your order will be (partially) cancelled.If you have any questions about this, please let us know!
