Right of withdrawal

The legislator has provided for the possibility to return articles delivered by an internet shop to the shop without giving any reason and to cancel the order. This is called the right of withdrawal. The period within which a claim can be made there is called the cooling-off period (cooling-off period).

The law provides for a cooling period of fourteen calendar days after delivery. But watch out. Perishable foodstuffs are excluded from the right of withdrawal for hygienic reasons (food safety), as is custom work.

This exclusion applies to all spices offered by us. also because we pack each order separately in the quantity requested by the customer. The right of withdrawal therefore only applies to non-food items.

If you invoke the right of withdrawal, we will immediately send you a confirmation of your notification and an explanation of the procedure by e-mail.

How does it work?

Based on the right of withdrawal, you have the option of refraining from purchasing and requesting a refund of the purchase price, or requesting an equivalent replacement product. If you choose the latter, we will - subject to availability - ensure immediate dispatch after receipt of the return shipment.

Any price differences in your favor will be immediately settled with you by means of a refund. In case of additional payment, you will receive an additional order with payment request from us. Your new article will be sent to you as soon as possible after receipt of the additional payment. In both cases you will receive written confirmation of the agreements from us.

After you have indicated within the cooling-off period that you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal, you have - again - fourteen calendar days to return your purchase, provided it is unused and undamaged and subject to the following rules.

Who pays what?

The right of withdrawal entitles you to a refund of the costs of purchasing the relevant product(s) including the compensation paid for handling and shipping costs, if the withdrawal does not concern all products received in proportion .

The costs of returning the product are for your account, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

Three rules for returns

1. the product has not been used

Every buyer is allowed to assess a product on its functioning. This is considered 'not used', provided that the assessment has been made with care. For example, the product may not be extensively tested. In the case of the pepper mills, this means that they may be tried empty. If there is a problem after filling, please refer to the guarantee scheme.

2. the product is undamaged

This goes without saying. If you have received the product damaged, please contact us immediately after receipt via our contact form or by telephone with the helpdesk. Always assess upon receipt whether the packaging is damaged, and you may suspect that the contents are too. Refuse severely damaged packages !

3. the product will be properly packaged and sent with correct postage

Attention! We do not accept packages that are encumbered with postage. Make sure you have sufficient postage, and do not use a letter parcel stamp for sending a (larger) parcel.


If the above rules are met, we will issue you with a refund within 48 hours after receipt of the returned product. In general, you will receive the payment in your account two to five days after the transfer. If the rules of the game are not complied with, we reserve all rights.
